Agreement and effective date

These TuneReveal.com terms of use apply from August 29, 2026, to tunereveal.com and its browser-only music-theory tools and guides. The site is operated by TuneReveal.com, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

You must be at least 16 years old. If local law requires a greater age or a guardian’s consent to use an online service, you are responsible for meeting that requirement. The site has no account and does not use an age-verification profile.

Nothing on the site creates an attorney-client relationship or provides legal advice.

The service provided

TuneReveal.com offers educational writing and deterministic calculations based on values a visitor enters. The launch version can organize a known BPM, key, meter, confidence level, and notes; perform visible timing arithmetic; look up conventional relationships; transpose supported note or chord roots; compare entered keys under stated rules; and map a frequency to the nearest twelve-tone equal-tempered note.

The service does not upload or receive media, fetch a URL, access a microphone, download a video, connect to a streaming account, recognize a recording, or analyze a song automatically. A calculated result is not a representation that the input was correct.

Permission to use the site

TuneReveal.com grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to use the public interface for lawful personal, educational, and internal professional reference, subject to these terms. You may quote a reasonable portion of a guide with attribution where permitted by law. You may copy your own tool results.

This permission does not transfer ownership of the site, brand, visual assets, page copy, software, compilation, or design. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass the site’s security or access controls;
• use automated traffic in a way that impairs service or ignores published crawl instructions;
• reverse engineer where prohibited behavior exceeds rights granted by applicable law;
• introduce malware, deceptive redirects, or code intended to collect another visitor’s information;
• impersonate TuneReveal.com or suggest endorsement, affiliation, or certification that does not exist;
• reproduce substantial site content to operate a confusingly similar service;
• use the support address to send unlawful, abusive, confidential, or rights-infringing media;
• attempt to turn the site into a downloader, circumvention service, or unauthorized analysis endpoint.

Reasonable search-engine crawling consistent with robots.txt and ordinary browser inspection are not prohibited.

Your inputs and responsibilities

Tool values remain in your browser and are not submitted to TuneReveal.com. You are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and appropriateness of anything you type or independently copy. Do not place confidential or regulated data in the fields merely because processing is local; extensions, device software, screenshots, or people with access to your device may still see it.

You are also responsible for respecting copyright, contract, platform rules, and other rights when you listen to or study music outside this site. TuneReveal.com does not grant access to any recording.

Educational limitations

Music analysis includes judgment. A key may be ambiguous, a performance may drift, a meter may admit more than one hearing, and a transition labeled compatible may still sound artistically poor. Reference tables generally assume conventional twelve-note equal temperament and familiar major or minor labels unless a page says otherwise.

Do not rely on a result for safety-critical timing, medical measurement, scientific calibration, legal compliance, contractual delivery, royalty reporting, or financial decisions. Use a qualified teacher, engineer, technician, or other professional where consequences require independent verification.

Worked example of proper use

You count eight four-beat bars over 20 seconds and use the tempo calculator. It returns 96 BPM and shows the formula. You verify the counted bars, recognize that the performance may drift, and record 96 as an estimate for that passage. This is an intended educational use.

It would be improper to claim that TuneReveal.com listened to the recording, certified a complete performance at exactly 96 BPM, or authorized use of the underlying music. The site did none of those things.

Availability and changes

The service may be corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued. There is no promise of uninterrupted access, preservation of local entries, compatibility with every browser, or advance notice for every nonmaterial edit. Material changes to these terms will receive an updated effective date.

The current service has no accounts, uploads, payments, databases, remote analysis, analytics vendors, or persistent tool storage. If that scope changes, revised terms and relevant notices will explain the new behavior before it becomes available.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available.” TuneReveal.com disclaims warranties that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, complete, fit for a particular purpose, or accurate for every musical context. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this paragraph may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TuneReveal.com and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, revenue, reputation, or creative work arising from use of or inability to use the site. This paragraph does not limit a mandatory consumer right or liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by applicable laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer law applies. They do not state a mandatory arbitration clause, class-action waiver, shortened limitations period, or exclusive venue. Mandatory rights available in your location remain unaffected where they cannot lawfully be waived.

Frequently asked questions

Do the terms give me rights to a song I study?

No. The service supplies no recording and grants no third-party music rights.

May I use a calculation in class notes?

Yes, subject to lawful use and your responsibility to verify the assumptions.

Does a harmonic match guarantee a good transition?

No. It reports a rule relationship between entered labels, not an artistic verdict.
